Staff here are so helpful, quick, and great to work with. Here’s the problem: This place runs on an appointment basis. You make appointments to come in, and there are strict rules about being late/early. But you can expect to wait in a line of 6-22 people literally every time you come in - just to sit down. The wait can take anywhere between an hour to 3 hours just to start giving, and that’s typical. Sometimes you can come in and give within 20 minutes- sometimes you stand waiting for more than an hour. Literally as I type there are greater than 20 people (not an estimate) standing in a line to give, and 7 waiting to be checked in. I don’t understand why in an appointment run system this is an issue. I literally can’t fathom why this can’t be fixed. New staff have been brought on, it’s been months since these waits started. I want to write a great review - the staff here make coming worthwhile, but I can’t until some changes are made. Response to owner's reply: I understand staffing concerns, the solution while new staff are onboarded seems simple: don't overbook appointments.

Very friendly staff, clean, taking precautions for covid. Right now they take temperatures at entrance, have hand sanitizer, spaced out foot prints on the ground. The first time did take me 4.5 hours to donate. Bring snack and water. Other times took 2-3 hours. It’s very relaxing because you can watch videos or read on your phone. It would be nice if they had complementary water Bottles. If you are more than 10 min late they won’t let you donate. Also after 4 donations they test the plasma and you can’t donate until they get the results. I came to donate but wasn’t able to, they told me to call before. It took 2 weeks which I was bummed because of the sign up bonus was about to expire.

The positive....very clean facility and very friendly staff. I started donating plasma in February. At that time they were running like a well-oiled machine. I was in and out of there in an hour. About 2-3 months ago that all ended. No matter what time of the day I go in, I will wait 2 hours before I even get seated to donate. I was there one evening. I had a 6:00 appointment. At 7:30 I was still standing in line to donate with 7 people in front of me. And there were 8 people standing in line behind me. They were closing down stations as opposed to seating donors. They are obviously short-staffed. They have to stop accepting so many appointments and need to adjust their scheduling portal accordingly. The canned responses to the reviews are not reassuring. Until you can get additional staff you should simply adjust your scheduling platform I would imagine the volume of people expected to be seen by your staff is very stressful. This is probably contributing to staff turnover. Hopefully this matter will be fixed soon as obviously there is a good number of people that want to donate to this great cause.

The staff at this location are amazing. The problem is the wait times. I've been coming to this location for months and starting in December the wait times became absolutely ridiculous. I used to be in and out in about an hour. Now it takes a minimum of an hour just to get the confirmation that you can donate that day. Then you spend another hour waiting in the queue to actually do the donation. What's the point of making an appointment if every time is clearly being over booked? It's not only rude to the people doing the donations, but it's dangerous. After three hours of waiting in line with no food, you're much more likely to pass out during or after the donation. The appointment system needs to be updated so these wait times are no longer happening.

I would never recommend anyone to come here. It would seem that you are doing a good deed, helping other people who need plasma transfusions. There is not the right attitude towards people: they puncture the veins, and then they themselves find fault with you. You are wasting a lot of your time. I do not recommend it.
