Super fun! Wonderful experience. I honestly had no idea what to expect. The dogs are amazing and friendly and suckers for attention:) our family went in 2 sleds and the kids loved it too. Our guide Will was incredible and very friendly and knowledgeable, we felt very safe with him the entire time. Also, you are shuttled to and from Spray Lakes (dog sledding site) so you are fully taken care of.

HIKE! Experience - Great Value - Fair Service/Guides - Great First things first - Ethics, I was worried, animals are involved so you got to be aware of these things and there is probably a mix of great and terrible companies and a mix of normal and nutbar reviews. These guys seemed great - I know dogs as good as any non-professional can; I was on the lookout and saw nothing to indicate that these dogs aren't living their best life. JACKED to be out and pulling, happy, relaxed well adjusted, playful - no contraindications. The staff was the same, it would be near impossible to act like they did with the dogs in public and have anything nefarious going on in private. Even got to see our guide give an unruly tourist a stern lecture for not following directions and putting the dogs at risk. Good for you! Listen to and follow instructions and you will get on just fine. The experience: GREAT! Did the two hour powder hound, not long enough for me, I think the overnight would be epic. Drove the sled, rode in the sled, got to know the dogs. Always dress warmer than you think in the mountains. Shell for wind! Shell for wet! I was comfortable and happy but if you underestimate the mountains you will be in for a frosty day. There's no bad weather, only bad clothing!

It doesn’t get any more Canadiana then this! Thank you for a lovely afternoon. Your whole team (both two and four legged) really showcase the best of the Alberta Rockies. Everything is run so smoothly and with a smile. Can’t wait to come back and do the overnight adventure!

The best experience I have had in Canmore, bar none. Emotions aside, the company is very well run. The staff clearly enjoy their job, which speaks volumes about management and the work culture. The staff were all cheerful, clear in their communication and confident in their skill. The dogs all looked ready to hike. Their energy and drive was unmistakable. The gear all in optimal condition. A definite repeat.

We decided to book a tour for our anniversary. We had originally booked with another company the previous day, but the tour got cancelled due to an avalanche blocking the road. We are SO happy that it got cancelled as we had the time of our lives with Snowy Owl. My husband and I were in a self driven sled and to begin with we were a little nervous, but we are so glad that we did self driven as it was an experience that we never thought we would be lucky enough to have. We had a very experienced instructor called Megan with us and she was AMAZING, she filled us with confidence and gave us super clear instructions, we felt so comfortable with her, thank you Megan! Anyone not sure about wether to book or not should 100% book with these guys, they know their stuff and the dogs are fantastic! Thank you for a wonderful Anniversary experience that we'll never forget :)
