Disgraceful attitude, no dialogue, organization is not interested in professionals with experience in different translation fields, many e-mails I had to send again as they were not read and organized. Old-fashioned and bureaucratic as USSR leaded by Stalin! Amateur attitude, could not recommend-waste of time and money. No phone number and no desire to improve.

Organisation dedicated to raising the standards in translation and interpreting and part of the international network of similar organisations. I regularly use their website to find suitable qualified translators.

This association is run by a voluntary committee, which I recently joined. I have been a member of the organisation for several years, but it's only when you join a committee that you realise how much work a small team of volunteers is doing on behalf of the entire membership.

Tried contacting the office multiple times, the message I sent through Facebook has been marked as red but never have I received a reply, same situation with the email previously sent. I wouldn't trust this company for a second and most definitely wouldn't send any money to them. Scam that's all! No information on the content of the exam they have mentioned on their page either Ridiculous Definitely NOT legitimate company. I will also forward my complain to the authorises responsible for dealing with that sort of organisations.

I dont think this place is very legitimate nor seriously ran. I filled all the criteria to join and applied for membership and paid 20e. No news, until it was past the deadline. When i called the secretary said they were not believing some of the information i provided and added my file to their rejected pile. Unbelievably rude and biased !! I provided the proof needed but it was too late according to them, i had to apply again next year. Of course they neither admitted their fault nor returned my 20 euros app fees. To me this is no better than a scam. They also offer companies a membership that enables them to stamp their translations as certified, even though there is nothing certified about the company not the translators they employ. Strangely enough they make a big deal out of the certification test for indépendant translators. They refuse to reveal how they assess their level in all languages. I dont have any trust in this organisation and will never join them. They do not seem to offer much for established et translators with degrees in their field.
