The reason I went there is to take inspiration and to come back inspired from such an initiative knowing that it is a restaurant managed only by woman and as the name suggests it is a self help group. However, all these are fine except the food. The street food would be more tastier than this. The rate is high which is fine but it is not fine when you give such bad and stale food at such a high rate. The food was oily and above all of it, the worst was the fish which was on the verge of getting uneatable. But then too they served it. Anybody could understand that the Hilsa fish was not edible leave alone fresh. Any street side vendor would serve a far tastier dish than the food that I ate at that place. They need to up their game. Won't go there again.

A very good restaurant for family. The service is very pleasant and the special about this place is food. Food quality is so good that it feels like home.
Beautiful food. But I ate it all and didn’t put a photo on. How many clean restaurant just around the corner from the mother Theresa house and the Baptist missionary Society. Lovely ladies and a wonderful cause
It's an unique eating outlet, managed and run by women co-operative. Clean environment. They offer nice Bengali cuisine. Price is moderate. One of the best places to take meal in this area. One thing one must keep in mind, it closes down by 4PM!
I remember eating here after college with my sister. Its the best place with great memories and the food is amazing!
Really good bengaly home made food.
The place is served by only ladies of self-help group. Ambience is moderate but clean. Most of the served bengali foods are tasty except few dishes viz. আলুভাজা contains lots of oil, ডাল is not up to the mark. First time tried ইলিশ ধোকা here.
Home like food and very basic decor.. authentic simple Bong food at it's best, but a bit pricey though.. the low foot fall is good sign of that..
