A rare mixture of various architectural styles from Roman to Gothic to Oriental styles. A rich history to discover together with the rise and fall of the regional fortune. A must stop for visitors as well as pilgrims alike.

The historical Cathédrale Notre-Dame-du-Puy (Le Puy Cathedral or Cathedral of Our Lady of the Annunciation) is a magnificent Romanesque cathedral. It's location in the heart of the old town offers amazing views of the city. You enter the cathedral in the middle by the main stairs which are quite steep but well worth the effort. We were lucky as during our visit there was a Pilgrim's mass on. This Cathedral is definitely a must visit.
