My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience at Lucky Tortoise. It was the first time the both of us had been. Staff were lovely and explained everything so well, I have a severe peanut allergy and the lady serving us made sure there would be no cross-contamination and went above and beyond for me. We went for the All-In option where you basically taste everything on the menu. There were one or two dishes that contained nuts and instead of taking them out of the meal the kitchen prepared replacement dishes. The food was honestly exceptional, bursting with flavour. I cannot wait to visit again. Thank you so much.

Had lunch today at Lucky Tortoise and I was so pleased with everything. My husband and I ordered one of everything on the menu. It was all absolutely delicious. The flavors are great. The service was also very good. Will definitely be back and recommend to friends!

Great memories of the all in menu that came so highly recommended. Definitely worth visiting for the food. I hope we can get back to it soon...

My partner and I visited the Lucky Tortoise pop-up in Temple Bar. The first thing we noticed walking in was how well spaced out the tables were, and that all staff were wearing facemasks. There was hand sanitizer available on the table as well which was nice. Everything about the way the restaurant was run felt safe and clean. We both ordered the all-in menu, and it was incredible. Such good value for money, and every single dish was delicious. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, and overall it was a really great dinner out!

The food is just so good. With the menu \all in\ you get to try many different dishes and each of the dish is absurdly tasty. I removed one star as the beer offerings are a bit poor: would be great to have Asian beer to pair with the food.

Went for the All In for 25 which is basically one of everything. They bring it out as its ready and the food just kept coming. Absolutely delicious, wasn't a bad dish all evening. Definitely recommend and already looking forward to going back

Looking at the photos in previous reviews it's clear we were served ONE \all in\ and charged for TWO in your Temple Bar restaurant. We thought the waitress had made a mistake as the price was so extortionate for the small amount of food. (50 euro for 3 dumplings and a single small bowl of rice - seriously?) We were informed that the bowls were \half filled\ for single orders, so it's clear the restaurant has halved portion sizes, and kept prices the same, in order to gouge customers. What's funnier is the waiting staff agreed that the price was far too high. The menu also lists the items as plural for one menu order - dumplings, pancakes, potstickers (as in multiple - as in not singular - AS IN MORE THAN ONE). In reality you are getting ONE dumpling, ONE potsticker and a QUARTER of a scallion pancake, per order, for 25 euro. Best of luck staying open in these challenging times when you are wilfully decieving and ripping off your potential customers. At the very least please update your menu so it's not completely dishonest. Cheers.

I had very fond memories of visiting this place several times as a pop-up in Ranelagh. The all-in menu had lots of dumplings, each more delicious than the last. Recently visited the new Temple Bar location with my girlfriend. Very very different story. We both had the all in menu (25 x 2) and some drinks. Paltry 3 or 4 dumplings each and some misu, coleslaw, kimchi, and not much else. The drop in quality was apparent and nothing tasted great. The lack of dumplings was by far the worst part. This was no all-in menu. It felt like a poor starter. I left hungry and 70 lighter.
