This was a gorgeous place to unwind from civilization. We saw so many deer. The birds were abundant too. The cabin was cozy. Perfect place to celebrate anniversary.

Loved hiking here, the fall colors were brilliant. Just a gorgeous place to hike. We’ve camped here in the past and enjoyed camping here.

We didn’t camp, just drove through and went for a hike. Will definitely come back with the kayaks. They rent small boats and kayaks for the lake which looked really pretty. We could also see many catfish in the water so will come again and try some fishing. The glamping tents looked amazing.

I have been going to this State Park for over 20 years and have always enjoyed it, until my last trip. The handicapped bathrooms were closed, and the pool was closed. These are two of the main reasons we go camping at this park. The park is usually very beautiful, but it looks like they are not keeping up with the grounds keeping. All in all, it appears that it is now being run by a third rate company. Very sad as we have made family memories from this State Park for a generation. We will probably find another place to camp from now on.

It's a place to go see if you love to Camp go swimming and have lots of fun. The Ranger is very knowledgeable as well as the office. You have swimming pools basketball courts tennis courts and cabins that you can rent out or stay in the RV or you can go camping. We will be coming back for another weekend.
