Aiding in the healthy development of children across Portage County by assuring children receive the financial support of both parents.\ Happy and healthy parents make happy and healthy children. This organization has tormented me for almost 20 years. My son left an abusive home at 15 and they still collected child support for the mother for 3 more years?! WHY?! Over the years they have emptied my bank accounts, revoked my license ( several times ), revoked my passport, and issued a warrant for my arrest. I love my children very much, but this dictatorial \support\ has only made matters SO MUCH WORSE for me and my children. I paid LOTS of support for many years - no one cares. I feel sorry for the people who work here as they are only serving greed, abuse, and their own egotistical existence. A pathetic attempt at \doing the right thing\. I am self employed and it has always been difficult to make ends meet and manage my finances, but the Child Support office ensures that it's impossible. You and your system are horrible. You have been played by the mother and the father pays the price. Sick.

Terrible organization with zero consistency. They mishandle funds with multiple communications after changes in amounts, garnish funds illegitimately, and tell you \sorry there is nothing we can do\ after handing over a thousand dollars worth of funds to another state KNOWING that there is a zero balance and that this money is owed back to me. You are better off just burning your paycheck than dealing with this organization.

Absolutely no help when it comes to the safety, care, or best interests for either the children or the parents. Their paycheck is the only thing they are concerned witb.

Lazy workers. There was one that was awesome but she is no longer there. Every single time I have gotten support has been because I gave them the information, not them actually doing their job and looking for it. They do not enforce orders either.
