Staff completely unhelpful. You are not allowed to withdraw the money you have in your own account, they say you have to give them details of were the money is going to be used before. What as it got to do with them. David the branch manager was rude and spoke down to me as if I was an idiot. The secruity guy was intimadating to say the lest which was completely not needed. Transfer to a more customer based bank.

Branch is small and well laid out. Traditional desks to conduct banking transactions, plus multi function atm's that not only pay out cash, but you can also deposit cash and cheques. Staff super friendly. Lots of competitively priced banking products to choose from. Good range of current, savings and ISA accounts. Comfortable waiting area if you have an appointment. Easy wheelchair access if required. Great place to bank.

Rang them to open an account - They didn't answer the phone. The call went through to a friendly, helpful man at a national centre, who advised me to take in specific paperwork and they could do it there and then. I quote \You don't need an appointment to open an account.\ Took my details to Nationwide Rushden and the two women at the counter made such a fuss. I couldn't open an account without an appointment. The centre shouldn't have said that I could do this without an appointment. The centre just don't know what's going on. Etcetera, etc., etc. I'd have to wait until they had a free appointment available (Just over an hour later which would involve hanging around town spending money instead of saving it. I'm disabled so this wasn't an option) So I went to TSB to ask if they could open an account for me (telling them what happened at Nationwide) and Sandra Roberts stopped what she was doing and opened an account for me there and then. Was it because I have Autism and I'm a teenager that the Nationwide messed me about? Or because the staff didn't want to have to do any work? Or is it because no-one knows what anyone else is doing there?
