Good manned swimming lake. Might be best to check with them if little ones can swim as there was too much algae in the water when we visited so under 6s couldn't go in. Nice beach, good cafe, toilet facilities and showers. 50 minute walk around the lake. Free kayaks and canoes for age 6 and over.

The place to visit if you are in the area. Fantastic free car park, café, shop, very clean toilet/showers. Great ride or walk around the lake with a self pulling raft to cross the top of the lake.

Great place to take the family for a walk through the wooded pathways, children will love the ferry that crosses over the lake. They have to help winch it over. Or picnics on the swimming beach, Cafe and little shop by beach with ample parking and public toilets. Van get busy so get there early.

Great walking circuit. Plenty of shade on a hot day. Well maintained exercise equipment and a fun boat crossing.

We come here every year as we have family not far away and it's my daughter's favourite lake to go to. Lifeguards on duty every day in the summer months, ice cream parlor and a snack bar too. You can buy anything you need. Food is reasonably priced too. There a free canoes for you to go on - you get 20 mins and can either go on a single, double or either a treble. The views are amazing too and it's never too busy that you can't find anywhere to sit.

Clean, friendly and good place to swim. Not to crowded. Entrance is free and so was renting a kano and board to sup. The childeren's playground was closed for renovation. There were lifeguards and you can bring your dog unless they are on a leash. A little store for some swimmimg gear and ver clean toilettes. I think they cleaned the toilettes every hour. That is a big thumbs up!! Big parking space is also available.
