Shrewsbury Town moved into New Meadow 2007 after spending 97 years at their old Gay Meadow ground its just on the outskirts of town its comprised of four separate stand and looks similar in design at first glance to the Kassam Stadium in Oxford.Each of the stands are simple single tiered stands and has a capacity of just under 10,000 Shrewsbury were the first League Club in England to install rail seating at their stadium ,thus creating safe standing containing 550 rail seats installed at the back of the South Stand.
