If I could put 500 stars I would! Dr Jensen is one of the smartest, most compassionate, amazing doctors that we have seen. Dr Jensen treats all 3 of my kids' autoimmune diseases. He is extremely good with kids and teenagers as well as adults. He always spends so much time with each child and listens very intently to their concerns and wishes. He makes their exams fun, he makes them laugh and is personable with them. He is extremely knowledgeable in their diseases and when one treatment fails, he never gives up to find a medication that they can tolerate better. He sends us messages and checks on the kids to see how they are doing. Not many doctors take time out of their day just to send a message to see how their patient is doing on a regular basis. My husband and I are so incredibly impressed with the kind of doctor Dr Jensen is. We feel very blessed and lucky to have such an amazing rheumatologist here is our area. We would recommend Dr Jansen a million times over. He really is amazing!!!!!

Dr. Jensen is an alarmist and cost us thousands of dollars for nothing. Our son had extended fevers as an adverse reaction to a routine vaccine. We talked to our pediatrician and we were told to wait it out but check in regularly. After a couple weeks our pediatrician told us he talked to a rheumatologist and that the rheumatologist wanted us to come see him. Dr. Jensen sat us down and read us a laundry list of terrifying, rare, and deadly diseases that he thought our son had (including cancer). He basically told us there was no way it could just be a vaccine reaction and wanted to order what would’ve been tens of thousands of dollars of tests. He basically wanted to test for any disease tied to a fever, even though he had no other symptoms of any of them, and the majority of them were extremely rare. He was so close minded to the idea that someone could have an adverse reaction to a vaccine that he thought it was more likely that our son had a disease that less than 100 people on earth have ever had. After expressing our concerns about paying for all of the tests and asking him to narrow it down to the most likely and urgent tests, he ordered what he said would be “maybe 1500” worth of tests. Those tests cost us 4000 and all of them came back negative. Thankfully our son’s vaccine reaction fever went away shortly after that on its own. Would not recommend Dr. Jensen. Testing for likely diseases is one thing but scaring people into thousands of dollars of rare disease testing and lying about the costs is another.

Went to Dr. Jensen in 2020 for multiple concerns including abnormal labs, random fevers, skin changes and rashes, weight loss, extreme fatigue, joint pain...list goes on and on. Gave me a quick 10 minute exam. Ordered labs and billed them as cosmetic, resulting in me getting a bill for over 1000. Fought with my insurance company for months trying to explain that I was having actual pain and rashes- I was not there to see Dr. Jensen for cosmetic purposes . Those labs came back abnormal as well. In the end he told me that I was just fine, and gave me what I’m guessing was a “I don’t know what’s wrong with you” diagnosis of fibromyalgia. Told me to exercise more and lose weight and I’d be fine. Lose some weight...? I lost had 50 pounds in 5 months without trying. Finally got a second opinion in Northern Utah. During my first visit I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and put on an immunosuppressant. Today, I feel better than I ever have in the past 5 years. Please consider going to the SLC or Las Vegas area for care. I’ve never been made to feel like my symptoms weren’t real by another other doctor like Dr. Jensen made me feel.

Just left my first appointment with Dr. Jensen. I was blown away by the time he spent to evaluate and walk through my individual situation, life plans, and options moving forward to make sure I chose the treatment best for me. Looking forward to feeling so much better. Thank you!

Dr. Jensen is all around one of the best physicians I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. I went with my wife and I was super impressed with how much time he spent with us seeing our needs. I know there is around 7-12 month wait to get in and he must be so stressed with that. He took the time to really get to know my wife and listen to what she had to say, he performed a super thorough exam and was able to diagnose and find a treatment for her that has made a world of difference for us. It is rare to find a physician as brilliant as he is (he did two fellowships and residencies!), who also has the interpersonal skills to really make you feel welcome and comfortable!

Absolutely the most professional, well trained doctor I have had the pleasure of meeting. I generally dread most doctor visits yet, seeing him was calming and assuring. Totally recommend Him and his staff. Patricia Hunt Koelzer .
