Due to adhering to government guidelines and staying within walking distance of my home I had forgotten how beautiful Lydiard Park is. Saturday morning I took a short drive to meet a friend. The sun was shining and the park looked stunning. We enjoyed a good couple of hours walking around various parts and pathways around the park and discovered a few new routes. I felt like a new person when I returned home to clean my house. The fresh air and exercise, seeing lots of families and dogs and having lovely company in an amazing location was an invaluable experience.

Amazing green space, very friendly ducks, swans and geese to feed in the lakes. Lovely woodland areas, cafe, parking, tree top adventure course, toilets, bbq areas, dogs welcome. I feel incredibly lucky to live close to a place like this, I regularly exercise in this park and they hold a park run on the weekends. Its a massive park to explore with all the family.

Amazing place of beauty and graphic nature. Brilliant drinks and delicious ice creams ! Great place to take the family for a long walk or even just talking your kids to feed the ducks. :)

Love to walk round Lydiard Park but you do have to pay 2.10 for 2 hours. During lockdown I do not mind paying. Also you can get a hot drink there!!!

One of the most beautiful parks I've visited. You can connect with the nature as soon as you put a step on its entrance. It also have a wide variety of plants and very friendly farm animals as you can see on the pictures. Very recommended if you enjoy good nature views and fresh air that make the leaves of the plants sound wherever you go. Music for your ears and soul.
