Timberwise quoted to project manage our cellar conversion. We chose them because they instilled confidence and were nice people. The price was around what we expected. There were issues with communication between various tradespeople they used. Some turning up before others had finished. Some things weren’t completed as they should have been or in time for the next tradespeople. There were disagreements between tradespeople which we had to resolve. We had to step in at times to point out that the way something was being done was not what we had asked for. The project itself was expected to take 3 weeks. It took 2 months. The overall result has been fantastic and what was a damp unusable space is now used daily. We are delighted with it now it is done. Some of the tradespeople who worked on it we have called back to do more work and will continue to use in the future for other projects. All in all I would recommend them, when there were issues they were all resolved and phone calls were made with apologies.

Matt came to our property quickly after we called and was honest, polite and professional. He made a very stressful time far easier to cope with. Nothing was too much trouble. He was on hand when we needed him and was so helpful throughout. The works were carried out quickly and efficiently by Steve who did a brilliant job, the house was left clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend Matt and the team to anyone.
Great company, quick response to issue. We originally signed up to get our damp issue sorted, however upon inspection after taking plaster off there was structural damage to the wall that needed fixing. They got this fixed straight away for us, and did not pressure us to purchase. The work took for days, and they even worked on the weekend to get this done, following snow! Everyday my hallway was left spotless when they finished the work. Would highly recommend!
Very fast and professional service. They did a damp survey on a house we wish to buy. Good communication and answered more questions after too. Very good.
The customer service was quite slow initially (we gave up trying to get a pre-purchase damp & timber survey done with them, but tried again for a free quote for remedial works after we bought the house). We had to wait a while to get an appointment for the quote (about 3 weeks), but the surveyor (Matt H) and the work that was done were great! Matt stayed in touch throughout the process and when the job got more complicated than expected he explained the pros and cons of our options honestly, and in a way that made us feel like we had control of the situation and choice over how to proceed (as opposed to feeling like we had no choice but to spend more money!). Carl who actually did the work was also great and left the house clean and tidy.
